The First Fae Outline

Bananach, Sorcha, and Devlin from Melissa Marr's Wicked Lovely series. The story line being that Sorcha and Bananach were the first fae, twins with power over Chaos and Reason. However, you cannot have true balance without the yin to the yang so they created their brother, Devlin equally of themselves. They fought over Devlin's allegiance but Devlin picked the reason of the unchanging Queen Sorcha's High Court; becoming the High Court's Bloody Hands. 

He's basically an assassin, he has emotions but he suppresses them out of fear Sorcha would isolate him from finding out he is too much like Bananach. He also cares for Bananach... but if you read the books you'll understand that she is batshit insane... I mean she's the faery of chaos but still. He is definitely one of my favourite characters, he makes you so sad sometimes, he just wants to be loved!

I am unsure of this series, like I love it and the world building is phenomenal, but there is just something missing I cannot put my finger on. I am on book four at the moment though, so hopefully I will figure out what is going on with this stopping me from completely adoring it thing. Maybe it's just cause it is very in between YA and A genres... again the world building and the way she winds the characters together are A++. I do need some more character development to be completely satisfied though. It seems that Devlin may do that for me yet! 

This is my newest piece and I am currently trying to get more brushes so I can do the piece justice but it's taking sooooo long! In order from left to right you have Bananach, Devlin, and Sorcha. Being done in Sketchbook Pro, so far I have only used the pencil tool; that shall change though. I want to add the silver strings/nets that they all can see to the background and have them winding around Devlin from both of his sisters but I tried to add them to the outline and it just looked like a weird S&M leash thing or ribbons tied around him that for some reason were coming out of the sisters heads. Frustrating to say the least.
